The foremost challenge was understanding the intricate asset tech jargon, which required focused research, brainstorming, and collaboration to grasp. As a cloud-native product, Pepper's architecture demanded that we ensure resilience and high-end scalability amidst its inherent complexities. The sitemap was particularly complicated, necessitating a thoughtful approach to achieve smooth, organized, and well-categorized data representation. Our focus was on bringing clarity to complexity, making the platform intuitive and user-friendly without sacrificing depth or functionality.

In-Depth Discovery and Competitor Analysis:
We got familiarized with the intricacies of asset tech, focusing on data layers, compliance requirements, and asset transfer nuances. During this phase, we identified gaps in the client’s existing app, including the absence of critical features such as holdings insights and syndication offerings. A thorough competitor analysis provided insights into industry standards and highlighted metrics that were essential for creating a more comprehensive and competitive platform.
Data Categorization and Dashboard Representation
To simplify the management of multi-asset, multi-strategy portfolios, we prioritized organizing and representing data in a clear, structured manner. Our dashboard design was driven by the goal of providing users with actionable insights through intuitive visualizations like graphs, charts, and real-time metrics.
Excel-Like User Experience
Asset managers are accustomed to using spreadsheets for their work, so we aimed to replicate the familiarity and efficiency of Excel within the dashboard.
